Company: SR-TIGET

Job title: Postdoctoral Researcher

Bio:

Helena Costa Verdera is a researcher at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy (SR-TIGET) in Milan, Italy, in the group of Dr. Anna Kajaste-Rudnitski, focused on understanding vector-host interactions and innate immunity to gene transfer. Helena received her PhD from Sorbonne University (Paris), while working in Genethon in the division of Liver Gene Therapy and Immunology.

Studying Vector-induced Innate Signaling & Toxicity in hiPSC-Derived CNS Models (new data, new tech) 2:00 pm

Understanding the impact of intrinsic immunity mechanisms on viral vector transduction Exploring the use of hiPSC models to study and predict AAV toxicity How can intrinsic innate signaling by CNS cells contribute to neurotoxicity upon AAV transduction?Read more
